We are looking for a dynamic Pre-Sales Engineer, someone who is passionate about technology and loves to engage with future clients on how to solve some of the biggest problems. The role is responsible for supporting the sales team with technical assistance, pre-sales technical follow-up, technical platform demonstrations, coordinating technical deep dives with prospects, creating Statements of Work and other cool things.

What would be your key responsibilities?
As Pre-Sales engineer, you are responsible for supporting business development activities across the globe. Together with the sales team, you will engage with prospects to demonstrate our technology and identify the opportunities to solve their problems using Sentiance contextual insights and behaviour change platform. You will be based in our headquarters in Belgium and report to our CRO.
Prepare and give presentations / technical demonstrations of our products and services
Act as a trusted advisor and identify customer needs during client meetings
Technically support the sales team, including follow-up and reporting of test users from prospects
Actively participate in RFI/RFP processes, prepare project proposals and statements of work
Assist in presentations, demonstrations and support POCs to articulate use-cases and value to prospects.
Drive trial periods with prospects to ensure they are effectively learning and engaging with the platform.
Respond to technical and/or functionality questionnaires.
Participate in conferences for technical support and demonstrations
Facilitate technical training and technical demonstrations for partners
Liaise with Product and Engineering teams to provide feedback from prospects about product requirements
Keep abreast of market trends and product and competitor landscapes

What are the essential qualities to be successful in this role?
You are fluent in English, both written and spoken
You have a bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science or business administration
You have experience in a client-facing role (e.g., sales engineering, professional services, sales)
You have experience selling or supporting complex cloud solutions
You have good technical knowledge of mobile platforms, web technologies and public cloud providers
You are an excellent communicator able to present well, both on video calls and in-person meetings
You are able to take complicated products and ideas and present them to a wide variety of audiences.
You are strong listener partnering with customers in order to fully understand the problem and make sure they adopt the best possible solution
You are well organised and demonstrate proactivity in following up on prospects
You are a fast learner and motivated to become a solution expert
You are a strong team player able to build close relationships throughout the various teams
You're able to build engaging relationships with clients and know how to influence their long-term strategic direction
