We are looking for a dynamic Head of Delivery, someone who’s just as comfortable being hands-on, as they are taking a strategic role engaging with clients and working across all areas of the business. The role is responsible for client delivery and customer support, management of the development roadmap, quality assurance, and delivery processes, with a constant focus on providing excellence in delivering the company strategy.

What would be your key responsibilities?
As Head of Delivery, you are responsible for client delivery and customer support, management of the development roadmap, and management of the delivery processes. You will engage with many different stakeholders and indirectly coordinate the work of development teams. Your role is key in executing the strategy and delivering an excellent service to our customers. You will be based in our headquarters in Belgium and report to our COO.
Some of your activities:
Oversee and manage client projects and ensure proper resource allocation
Organize customer support, during onboarding and post-project, through processes and systems
Leverage the tech teams and engage relevant stakeholders to ensure timely execution of projects
Scope client work and review Statements of Works and proposals
Be a servant leader and coach to development teams and product owners
Ensure roadmap priorities are well defined and scoped, ask the difficult questions in a constructive way to ensure alignment with the company strategy
Support headcount planning aligned with roadmap and flag potential resource allocation issues
Maintain an appropriate approach and process to project management and delivery
Evangelize scaled agile software development methodologies and educate the team
Monitor performance and management reporting on roadmap progress and client projects
Manage risk and escalate to senior management as appropriate

What are the essential qualities to be successful in this role?
You have an academic degree, preferably in computer science or related discipline
You have 8 years of relevant experience, including hands-on experience steering multiple development teams and managing multiple complex projects simultaneously
You have at least 4 years of experience in a client-facing role (e.g., consulting, professional services, sales)
You have been involved in strategic planning and execution in an international context
You are an expert in agile software development methodologies, SAFe certification is a plus
You have a good understanding of web technologies, mobile platforms, AWS and cloud infrastructure
You know how to report on KPI and progress using the right level of detail
You have good data analytics skills and know how to incorporate data into decision making
You know the different steps in the software development lifecycle and are familiar with CI/CD and DevOps principles
You are able to lead a continual planning process in a complex environment
You demonstrate business savviness and proactivity
You have strong organisational skills
You are a credible leader able to build and mend relationships, communicating with stakeholders at all levels.
You feel comfortable working in an engineering-focused environment with rapidly changing priorities
You maintain high quality standards, but find a balance between quality, flexibility, and timely delivery
